Neetroplus nematopus

The "Neet" as it's known is another little guy to make the list. This very nasty Cichlid also hails from the Nicaraguan lakes and prefers to forage around in the rocky substrate feeding on aufwuchs and algae. When breeding they become jet black with a white bar. Their razor sharp teeth give them a great advantage at protecting their brood, which they do better then almost any other Cichlid.
